How to Kill a Dead Girl

Seventeen-year-old Allison Gray is an artist with the power to resurrect the dead through illustration. A secret she hides along with her anxiety disorder (emetophobia) and lingering feelings for her ex-boyfriend Cole. Ally swore never to use her ability again after discovering that any inaccuracy in her artwork would resurrect something evil instead. But when Cole is implicated in the fatal car accident of his new girlfriend, Margot, Ally breaks her own rule to protect him.

The resurrection appears successful at first, until people start disappearing and their bodies turn up with their hearts missing. Ally sets out to learn more about her power and find the monster she summoned—only to discover Margot is the monster. Ally’s only hope is teaming up with her sworn enemy, an annoyingly handsome demon hunter, to save her town from the monster she’s unleashed.
